Understanding FP, CP & QC

There are three main types of currencies of sorts in QHF Fantasy Points (FP), Coaching Points (CP) and Quick Cash (QC). In this section we will explain what each is used for in the game and how you can earn them.

Fantasy Points

FP are essentially the same thing as the experience points (XP) you typically earn in role-playing games. We call them Fantasy Points because the base system for earning them is similar to the scoring systems used in Fantasy Football games. FP are earned by the accomplishments of the individual players during games and they’re used to increase your Coach Level.

Here’s a breakdown of the base FP earned for each statistical achievement:

Name Points
Kick or Punt Block 4
Deflect Pass 1
Force Fumble 6
Interception 4
Recover Fumble (offense) 2
Recover Fumble (defense) 6
Sack 4
Safety 8
Tackle 1 for every 3
Tackle for Loss 3
Defeat Block Slight Win 1 for every 3
Defeat Block Normal Win 1 for every 2
Defeat Block Big Win 2
Touchdown (non-Passing) 6
2-Point Conversion Passing 1
2-Point Conversion Receiving 1
2-Point Conversion Rushing 2
Blocking Big Wing 2
Blocking Normal Win 1 for every 2
Blocking Slight Win 1 for every 3
Broken Tackle 1
Fumble -2
INT Thrown -2
Touchdown (Passing) 3
Passing Yards 1 for every 20
Touchdown (Receiving) 3
Receiving Yards 1 for every 10
Rushing Yards 1 for every 5
Sacks Allowed -1
Delay of Game -2
Extra Point 1
Field Goal 0-39 3
Field Goal 40-49 4
Field Goal 50+ 5
Punt (Inside 5) 5
Punt (9-5) 4
Punt (14-10) 3
Punt (19-15) 2
Punt 20+ 1
Return Yards 1 for every 20
Touchback -1

This base FP is then adjusted by the multiplier of your opponent, which is based on a combination of your coach level and how your team rating compares to your opponent. For example, if you’ve earned 210 base FP from achieving the above-mentioned statistical milestones and your opponent’s multiplier bonus is “x10“, you will earn a total of 2,100 total FP for that game.

The opponent multipliers can go above and below your coaching level by up to a maximum of 25%. Hence, if your Coach Level is 50, the largest multiplier you can get for playing a higher rated opponent is “x63″ (technically 62.5) and the lowest you can get for playing a lower rated opponent is “x38″.

There is a maximum FP cap that you can earn in playing a single game. This cap is based on a base FP total of 400 multiplied by your maximum opponent multiplier bonus. For example, if you are Coach Level 50, the maximum FP you can earn in the game is 25,000 FP (based on multiplying 400 * 62.5).

Coaching Points

CP is what we consider our game’s “soft currency”. It’s used to purchase basic items such as standard plays, Rookies, and basic enhancements to the stadiums. It is also used in training rookies by increasing their player levels.

The main way to earn CP is to earn enough FP to gain a new Coaching Level. Here’s a breakdown of the CP earned per level:

2-10: 2,500 CP
11-20: 3,000 CP
21-30: 4,000 CP
31-40: 5,500 CP
41-50: 7,500 CP
51-60: 10,000 CP
61-70: 13,000 CP
71-80: 17,500 CP
81-90: 20,000 CP
91-100: 25,000 CP
101-200: 30,000 CP

CP can also be earned by completing Challenges, as part of the Daily Reward when you log on each day, or by completing special offers under the Bank section. They can also be purchased with a credit card in the Bank.

Quick Cash

QC is what we consider our game’s “hard currency”. It is an extremely rare commodity and can be used to purchase the most valuable premium items in QHF. It can be used to purchase Premium Plays and Stadium Upgrades or sign Legends to play for your team.

At the moment, QC is rarely given out. New users are credited with 10 QC for registering an account so they can experience the game’s boost system. They are then given an additional 50 QC after completing the first game of the Rookie Cup so that they can purchase their very first Classic Legend in the Pro Shop. Outside of these two instances, QC can be earned by completing Challenges and will soon be something you can earn by completing offers in the Bank section and as part of the Daily Reward. As with CP, QC can also be purchased with a credit card in the Bank.
