Hello all,
So we did some backend maintenance work for marketing so nothing terribly important in 3.7. Hence why we didn’t really do an annnouncement for it or anything. However with Mr. Dave’s approval I am now able to let you know that we did have other things slated for the 3.7 update. We decided to split it up the update into two seperate updates. One which was 3.7 full of boring marketing stuff and 3.8. So now that I have delayed you most for all of 8 seconds I begin below.

Greetings!
First off I wanted to say thank you to those that bared with us while Dave was out of town. We had some issues with the Player of the Day and I hope the deals were good for those that needed it. Now onto the release!
This release holds mostly time constrained items we needed to fix. I have listed and outlined what this update holds below.

I’m not sure if anyone’s noticed it because of the 60% off sale for the “retiring” Legends, but the new price points are currently available for Classics, Premiers, and Elites.

A lot of you have been dying for an explanation for the recent price hikes for boosting, plays, rookies, Classic Legends and Premier Legends. The quick and dirty reason is that the sales metrics for these items weren’t doing as well as I’d like and I felt we needed to test the waters to see how the QC revenue changed at a higher price point for each.

Update 3.5 is going to be pretty light, as we’re doing a behind-the-scenes update early next week to silently push out some Marketing features that won’t mean anything to you but should help us out a bit. Consequently, 3.5 — which is scheduled for a launch on Tuesday, May 3rd — isn’t going to have any new features. It will, however, have some thing that will help continue improving upon the overall experience of playing QUICKHIT NFL Football. Here’s a sneak peek of what to expect:

The story starts back at the end of the regular season of LFL2. I had just stomped Kid Steel in the final week of the season and cemented myself as the top seed with a 15-3 record. My confidence was sky high as I had already beaten the Steelers twice in the regular season and beat him again by 3 TDs in a pre-playoff scrimmage before our round 1 game. I was 100% positive that the finals would come down to a game between Tom’s Greatest Show and myself, as we were clearly the top teams all season long.

Let’s ignore the fact that they should’ve been released 7 months ago when the NFL Season Challenges were first launched, because this is something to be happy about. The NFL signature plays that you unlock for FREE by beating each of the 32 NFL Season Challenges will finally go live as part of Update 3.4. If you complete any of the season challenges, you’ll be able to go to the Play Shop to pick up the team’s signature play for FREE — and if you’ve already completed the challenge prior to the launch of Update 3.4, you’ll have to beat the challenge again 5 times in one week to get the play! Alright, just kidding about that last part obviously. For those that already completed any or all of the challenges, the plays will be immediately available in the store when the new Update goes live.

You can never have enough Legends if you’re looking for success in both life and in QUICKHIT NFL Football. My Elite +10 gardener maintains my flower garden to perfection while my Rookie barber tends to leave me wearing hats on a day-to-day basis. As such, we’ve made it a mandate to continuously add new Legend inventory to the game until we have a complete set of guys at every tier and position type so coaches can pick the guys they want to build their perfect team.

Unless you’re a huge Jonas Brothers or Volkswagen fan, you’re probably not someone that loves bugs — and sadly, we’ve had some issues over the years at QUICKHIT with bugs in the game hampering the overall enjoyment of playing some football. In addition to fixing a few things in Update 3.4 that should help with some of the problems, we will also be introducing a long awaited feature that will give you guys a chance to click a button to Report A Bug to us when it happens.
